For we know, no amount of wealth can help, if we are not taught to help our selves. The moral,  intellectual, character building, life generating assimilation of ideas, love, sense of felling and showing gratefulness and gratitude to the people, society, nature, country etc., who are responsible for what we are today, discipline etc., appears to be somewhere missing in the present tailor made system of education.

The need of the hour is; that education by which character is formed strength of mind is increased, the intellect is expanded and by which one can stand on ones own feet with head held high in confidence to face the challenges of life ahead.

PaRanga Vidhya Kendra, one of the offshoots of the Trust provides encouraging and conducive environment of learning and knowledge for children from rural areas. The classrooms of the school are built in the shape of a Pyramid.

A number of literatures show that pyramid type structures have their own energy effects and the energy created inside the pyramid makes one to be more effective and efficient, as such, as a step towards providing such an energetic environment to the children arrangements are being made initially to build 11 pyramid type of class rooms.

In this task, PaRanga Charitable Trust with the helping hands of Philanthropists and donors, 5 pyramid class rooms and “ Ashraya Hasta Block” (Ref. Photo gallery) comprising a Science Laboratory, Library and Reading Room, Office / Staff room, have already been constructed and the children are being benefited out of it.  The  6th, 7th and 8th (put together is the auditorium) pyramid class room’s construction  is under progress.

The environment around, the energy and the feeling inside the pyramid class rooms is an experience by itself and cannot be explained. To fulfill the task ahead in constructing the remaining 6 pyramid class rooms , a hostel building for “PaRanga girls free hostel” and   to buildup “PaRanga Vidya Nidhi” - a corpus Fund for making PaRanga Vidya Kendra activities self sustained, trust appeal and seek moral and financial support from the philanthropists general public, organizations, corporate offices and companies and many more.

When a community is educated it will result in a Society with a favorable environment around, a better way of life. Hence a priority over other projects for execution of this project is given.

With the  object of providing a free quality education to the rural children and noting that there were no High Schools around 5 Kms from Thorepalya, steps were taken to start PaRanga High School, and the School was started in the year 2000-01, and the first batch of students took the State SSLC examination during March 2003, and the second batch during March 2004. It is with a pride to mention here that the results of SSLC examination improved from year to year and in the examinations held in March 2004 PaRanga High School stood at 2nd place in the SSLC results for the whole Magadi Taluk.

It is found that the level of basic education in the students of our school is very poor, which is one of the reasons for an inferiority feeling in the minds of the rural students, which makes them not to be in par with their urban counterparts. As a step in solving this problem PaRanga Pre Primary School and PaRanga Primary School were started during the year 2004-05.

With the object of providing free Quality education to the rural students at PaRanga Vidhya Kendra, the infrastructural requirements for providing a Quality teaching at PaRanga Vidhya Kendra is drawn.
